SL2 is wireless testing device designed for remote alcohol monitoring

What is SoberLink?

The SOBERLINK device is patented under U.S. Patent Number 8,381,573 and uses a professional grade fuel cell sensor to obtain a blood alcohol content (BAC) reading from the user’s breath. The device has an embedded high resolution camera, which takes a photograph of the participant during the breath test to verify identity, and a GPS antenna to acquire current location. The embedded cellular module transmits the BAC, GPS location, and photograph to a cloud-based web portal where the Case Manager can access and review the test results in real-time.

SOBERLINK monitors sobriety – anytime, anywhere.

SOBERLINK Automated Monitoring Portal

SOBERLINK’s Automated Monitoring Portal makes remote alcohol monitoring simple, yet highly efficient. The Monitoring Portal allows the Case Manager to create a unique and automated program based on each clients' needs that will alert desired contacts upon a missed or positive test. This real-time automation allows the Case Manager or other contacts to react immediately and appropriately in order to guide the patient through recovery and aftercare.

SOBERLINK Use Cases

Professional Treatment Programs

Licensed professionals participating in a monitoring program can conveniently use SOBERLINK as an alternative to random or scheduled EtG/EtS urine testing.

Residential Rehabilitation

Clients who receive a short term “pass” can still be monitored while away from their primary treatment facility.

Step Down / Aftercare

Aftercare programs can now use remote alcohol monitoring as part of their client’s behavioral contract.

Sober Living

Sober living facilities can provide remote monitoring as a transitional bridge when re-entering clients into society.

" SOBERLINK appears to be the most user-friendly, sensitive and specific way to monitor alcohol abstinence. My prediction is that SOBERLINK will soon replace all other forms of alcohol monitoring. " - Dr. Gregory Skipper, Director of Professionals Health Services at Promises Treatment Centers
